April Gallery Highlights

It is good to love many things,
for therein lies the true strength,
and whosoever loves much performs much,
and can accomplish much,
and what is done in love is well done.

~ Vincent Van Gogh ~

Gabriel Lipper - Judgment of Paris, Oil on Panel 30x40
April 1 marks our anniversary - we are entering into our fifth year here at Carrie Goller Gallery! We are grateful for all of the encouragement and support we have received. Thank you! We have heard your requests for additional hours. To that end - we are now open Mondays (new hours Wednesday through Monday 11-5:30, closed Tuesday).

Our magnificent Magnolia tree view from the gallery - eagerly awaited each spring

INTRODUCING GABRIEL LIPPER

Gabriel Lipper - Swim, mixed media on panel 12x12

First off we would like to welcome a talented new artist to the gallery! Gabriel Lipper is a classically trained Ashland, Oregon artist - obviously skilled at perceiving the human form and accurately translating that vision to panel or canvas. He has recently added mixed media abstractions to his field of work. Welcome Gabriel!

Youth Arts Showcase - all Poulsbo art galleries are showing art created by North Kitsap High School students this month through April 20. You are invited to meet, greet and encourage our young artists during Artwalk (see below). Carrie Goller Gallery is featuring work by Emma Hill, Kylie Gough and Jocelyn Grant.

Max Hayslette - Shades of Evening, oil & mixed media 38x44

ARTWALK

Free Hayslette Poster! This coming Saturday, April 14th, 5-8pm, please mark your calendars for Second Saturday Artwalk. Meet Max Hayslette, who will be autographing complimentary posters of 'Shades of Evening' and showing his latest work. Please join us and all the fine art galleries on Poulsbo's charming Front Street for wine and festivities.

Carrie Goller Gallery is open Wednesday through Monday 11:00pm to 5:30pm (and by appointment). Located in historic downtown Poulsbo, the gallery features a mix of contemporary fine art from small to large-scale, in a variety of media, from paintings to sculpture to mobiles. We work closely with each individual collector to assist in acquisitions for their particular tastes and requirements; including special orders, gift wrapping, shipping, installation and offer interior design consultations. If you cannot visit the gallery, please see our online store: www.carriegollergallery.com.

Best wishes,

Carrie & staff

Custom Jewelry by Charles Goller

Artist Charles Goller creates intricately wire-wrapped jewelry from precious gemstones and crystals which he selectively imports world-wide. He also does specialized custom work. He has worked hard to establish trusting connections and cares deeply about his sources; many in small villages around the globe, where the gems are mined by the villagers and contribute to the majority of their income. Recently Charles has been invited to several galleries in Sedona, AZ and Santa Fe, NM and is also supplying a New Zealand store with his work, which keeps him rather busy. However, he does accept commissions.  Email him at soulstarcrystals@gmail.com.
